Grisette Blanche belongs to the family of Belgian white beers. It is therefore very refreshing in summer. However, it remains a full-bodied, savoury beer offering lots of contrast. Its head is typical of wheaty beers - creamy and compact - with an opaque, hazy appearance.

July 2015: 250 ml bottle, BB date 05. Oct. 2013, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Brewed and bottled by Brasserie St-Feuillien S.A. Hazy pale straw colour, moderate white head. The aroma has the expected notes of coriander and orange peel, but also less pleasant perfumed and soapy notes. Refreshing flavour, distinctly citrussy with some coriander. Nice enough to drink.

Hazy yellow colour, big foamy white head. Wheat, yeast, some fruits and weak skunky notes. Rich carbonation. Flavour is surprisingly sour, mainly wheat and yeast with some fruity hints. Very dry palate, and an acidic sting in finish. Wheat and yeast in aftertaste.

pale yellow colour, transparent, fine lacing, honey and spicy aroma, lack of complexity, sweet and medium-bodied at best, long sweet aftertaste - quite pleasant

Typical witbier look, hazy yellow with a steady large white head. Light citrus aroma. Fruity and sweet to begin, some spices and sour to finish. Medium to light bodied but a watery in the finish. Had worse.
