Deep brown/ amber hued body, mid sized fizzy head, no laceing left behind. Flavors of raisins, spices, and some alcohol soaked fruits. Overall its a bit strange, but not bad.

scared, maybe.. i bought this 8 months ago and have been dreading this since i had the Quest.. . Big meaty salty sherry like aromas, not a good start, maybe some very faint chocolate.. . low head on the pour, then to just a bubbling of head .. . tastes like night train, but thicker and fizzier in the mouth!! .. fuckin gross shit! .. . cola, kool-aid grape, and night train flavours .. . you need either a bite plate, a wad of leather and a lighter or a piece of cheese to cover the flavour just to get through this... i hate this beer, and i hate you... even for gluten free this is a mess.. i am depressed now, i have a headache now, all my senses have been damaged!! ... .. this is worse than tori spellings acting, but her ass is nice...and this beer doesn’t have an ass, ..another knock!!

Bottle: Poured a deep pitch-brown ale with a light foamy head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with some distinguishable alcohol. Taste is also dominated by some overly sweet malt which are kind of gross with some hot alcohol ester. Light body with average carbonation. No subtlety or complexity and not something I am looking for ever drinking again.

A for effort I guess... I love how they made the beer but it is like drinking a wal-mart soda instead of a pepsi. Way to carbonated for my taste. flavor was plum and raisins..

As far as Gluten free beers goes, this is still terrible as I think they are all pretty much terrible. But I do give lots of credit for this companies desire to brew a variety of styles for those poor souls who can't drink real beer. Poured out a monster sized mid brown bubbly cap with insane retention, good lacing. The beer is a slightly hazy dark brown with reddish hues. The aroma is not that bad with peppery spice, weak pine, some roasted notes, nuts and something else - the spice is the most upfront of all the aromas but the entire thing is just odd. More oddness on the taste: what some of these exact flavours are is a mystery to me. Strange strong spice, sour and tart with slight roasted malts that is hard to find as it is tough to uncover beneath the tartness, weak dark fruit maybe? smoke? maybe, maybe not. The mouth feel is not smooth enough, ok carbonation, but this odd tart / sour / spice thing leaves my mouth ruined and unhappy. It just comes on too strong. With all of that said, this beer is quite complex and easily the best gluten free beer I've had. A one time purchase for sure.

Thought it would be appropriate to review this beer on Earth Day. Aroma is fruity and more like a brandy than a beer. Pours a nice dark translucent brown with a beige head that is thick but does not stick around for long. Flavor is rather like brandy or cider, very apply, not like a beer at all but still tasty. Texture is exceptionally smooth. This hardly seems like a beer at all, but that is not necessarily a bad thing!

Bottled. Deep ruby red colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is dark/red berries. Flavour is the same along with some milder hints from alcohol. Drinkable.

This is the second gluten free beer on the Norwegian market, Glutaner (a pale lager) was the first one. Green’s Endeavour is called a "Double Dark Beer". ABV is 6%. Website www. glutenfreebeers.co.uk . Green’s is a trademark of Charles Cooper Ltd. The beer has a dark reddish brown colour and a thick and creamy tan head. Distinct sweetish aroma and flavour that remind me more of cheap fortified wines than of beer. Notes of raisins and spices. Some hops in the aftertaste. No masterpiece, but drinkable even for people who are not "forced to" drink it by coeliac disease.
