Probably my favorite beer of this style. Poured a clear copper color with a very thin white head with very little if any lace the flavor was citrus with sight carnal malts....very easy to drink for a IIPA grapefruit is the dominate taste that I get from it. the bitterness was not at all

My first crack at a fresh Great Lakes beer. Bright orange pour with a creamy white head. Aroma is initially a wonderful bouquet of citrus and tropical fruit but fades quickly as the beer warms. Lots of hop bitterness in the taste with notes of grapefruit and mango. High ABV is very well hidden and sneaks up on you by the bottom of the glass.

An excellent seasonal beer, i look forward to the time this one is brewed. pours a nice hazy orangish color, with a nice head that stays around for a while. Beer has a nice fruity aroma and taste. High ABV is hidden well so watch out, as it can live up to it's name Monster ale. Note: slightly fruitier taste on the draft version.

Nice looking pale DIPA, good vibrant aroma of lively hops and strong malt. Flavor is very typical of the style, strong malt backbone with a huge punch of hops. Good amount of sticky resin and dank, juicy hops. This one seems a bit easier to drink than others I've had, hides the alcohol well.

Last beer before the descent to the 1st floor .. . Pours a medium gold, medium foam .. . mls all stars 0, united 4 .. . light sap, light malt, citrus, and pine needles .. . pretty good and very subtle .. . And I Vanna toilet made out of solid gold, but its just not in the cards now, is it?

Golden amber with a fluffy head that disappears quickly. Aroma is excellent without the pungent aroma of most high end IPA's. Taste is not strong but very well balanced. Overall a nice IPA. Will Defiantly have again but the price at 12 bucks a 4 pack has me thinking twice.

A very well made IIPA, especially when sampled as fresh as possible. Heavier malt body which is more in line with many of the beers within this style made in the Mid-West and along the East Coast. Underlying Great Lakes house malt profile with fruity, pungent hops.

Bottle from Pinnochio’s in Media, PA. Bought on Nov. 24 and the best by date was 8/25. Oops. Pour was orange amber with smallish head. Bready and citrusy in the aroma. For being past its prime, this thing still has a pretty good bite left. Flavor is citrusy with a tart zing, some teabag with biscuits malt profile. Doesn’t seem like 9.1% at all. I likey. Would have liked to see the hop aggressiveness fresh!

aroma of tropical fruit (canteloupe) herbal hops & sweet malt. big bodied and a touch sticky. balanced flavor with some biscuit malt as well. i had a 4+ month old sample, and would have liked a little more aroma and hop flavor, but it was still pretty nice. good enough to keep my eye out for a fresher one. another trade from Lou!
