Our seasonally brewed Redneck Rye-viera is a red rye double IPA designed for cooler weather, especially along the Gulf Coast and in the South. Made with three types of rye and fresh crystal hops, the hearty aromatic hop profile of this harvest ale makes for a smooth and spicy winter refresher with a bit more alcohol to keep you warm as the weather cools off.

Pours bubbly, slightly hazy amber with a nice buff head. Aroma presents strong notes of topical fruit, woody hops and rye. Sharp, hoppy flavor has a nice fruity tang and resiny and hay notes, only a little bitterness, definite rye tone plus a little fresh malt. Mouthfeel presents average body and some good fizz. Get your Redneck on any time of year.

Only in the low 8% range, but has a heavy feel for an imperial IPA. Heavy on rye and other malts. Has a good hop balance to offset, but this is more of a malt bomb. The rye is sort of overpowering and makes this a little too sweet, but that was the direction they were going I'm sure. Also has some oak flavor along with the tropical notes. Has a cloudy mahogany appearance with a medium white head. Solid brew from the panhandle.
