Local townsfolk had a name for her “Miss Lula,” and this widowed mother-of-two, plucky merchandiser, and hardware store magnate, was as headstrong in business as she was compassionate in her daily dealings. Our Headstrong Hefeweizen is a South German style of wheat beer brewed with 50% barley and 50% wheat. Aromas of banana, bubblegum, and a prod of clove await the nose, while fruity-like esters of citrus, fresh strong banana, spice, and clove chewing gum pleasantly zing the palate. Unfiltered, this hazy beauty will long be remembered. (We shamelessly recommend serving our Hef with an orange wedge.)
