Long days and warm nights awaken the city. The list of neighborhood festivals is endless. As is the great music that brings us together in parks and parking lots. We brewed our Session IPA to be easy drinking and endlessly refreshing, so you can enjoy every encore. Bright note of fresh oranges and other citrus fruit with a mild body that is crisp on the palate.

Unfortunately, the purchase of Goose Island has resulted in the beer brewing brewed outside the Chicago area, and in this case, a Labatt facility in Montreal. The beer pours a pale yellow colour, slightly clouded, with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and floral notes. Flavour is all tropical fruit, any malt aroma and flavour has been lost.

6-pack from my local Metro store. Slightly hazed, light-golden colour with a small white cap and some decent lacing. Nicely balanced aromas between the grassy hops and citrus notes. Decent bitterness with mild grass. Not super dry, so refreshing overall. Easy-drinking Session IPA with regular alcohol content.

Pours a fairly large frothy off-white head and has a clear golden appearance. Thick sticky lacing. Aromas of floral and citrus hops, some grassy and piney notes. Flavours are very citrusy, lots of hoppy notes (grassy, piney and floral). Some hints of grapefruit in the mix. Quite fruity overall. Good retention and average carbonation. Nice subtle drying sensation on the palate.

Clear light orange color with a thin white head, minimal lacing. Aromas and flavors of citrus, light pine, and light floral with a light malt flavor. Very light finish with mild hop bitterness. Some bitterness and mostly clean finish.Overall,a nice session IPA.
