NW Centennial and Cascade hops assertively bitter our tribute to a Yamhill county landmark. Aromatic NW Cascade and English Kent Golding raw hops are packed in the hop back, through which all the hot wort is passed, leaving just the clean hop aroma.

The aroma on this one was faint with some citrus and some grassy notes. This poured a copper color with a white head. The flavor was somewhat bitter with some lemons and caramel showing through. This wasnt bad but pretty boring.

Pours a hazy pale orange, some lacing. Dry hopping gives a festive floral/citrus/sprucey aroma....A Moderately bitter IPA, good roundness, grassy/nutty malts have a mellow, pale flavor and really come through nicely. Medium bodied and frisky carbonation. Fragrant beer, a hint of pepper. Quenching and fruity, and the finish still has staying power.

NOt a vert attractive beer at all when poured into my glass :dull, lacklustre pale orange with a small unattractive bubbly head. Aroam is mainlly hoppy but quite subdued compared to other IPAs..slightly spruce like...some maltiness. Taste is quite sweet with a good showing of the malts..the hops for my taste, are rather weak and wishy washy. Mouthfeel is alright..there is a pleasant mildly bitter aftertaste. So once again Golden Valley fail to impress me..not that this was a bad beer..it just didnt strike me as something i would tell a friend about.

Medium gold color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is floral and piney. A light to medium bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and fruity sweet. Hops are grapefruity and a touch piney. Hoppy, but its really more in the English style than a PNW India Pale Ale. Nicely balanced. Very smooth. Crisp dry finish. I guess you could call this a nice PNW interpretation of an English IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is bitter.
