If you can wait long enough, let the beer warm up and observe how the darker qualities of the malt take center stage as the smoke continues to slowly surface.

12oz can -
Aroma - white sugar bag, brown bread mix, mineral water and tea leaves
Appearance - deep mahogany brown body, semi-clear, super light tan head, light retention
Mouthfeel - medium body, light carbonation, somewhat dull, yet sticky
Flavor - something weird here. Tea leaves, banana, light cocoa, seems overly sweet.
Overall - while very affordable, it was a let down and frankly a poor example of a pedestrian style of beer. How does one mess up a brown ale? -

A nice easy drinking but adequately roasty and flavorful brown ale. Not THEIR best brew, but a bit of a standout in a normally boring style for me...
