Born in the days of the British Empire, our IPA has the high hop bitterness required to make the trip "Around the Horn" to India. Dark straw in color, the BrewHouse IPA is a strong ale with an intense hop aroma.

Had on tap when I was visiting Alaska on a cruise in April 2006. Its Very dark golden appearance, silky white head, excellent lacing. Clean, floral aroma with a slight spicy back end. Bittersweet citrusy notes prevail in the flavor with a bit of a camel and nectarine back end. Finished strong.

Hazy amber with a good head. The aroma is fresh grapefruit hops. The flavor is moderate juicy, fleshy grapefruit with mellow malt to back it up. The hop profile is super enticing, I like it, but it’s not big enough for an IPA. Cask-conditioned version: This was much better than the regular IPA. Same hop profile but amped up to a much higher leverl from the dry hopping in the cask. Great hop aroma that tingles your eyes when you take a sniff. This beer is a 4.2 or so, but the regular beer is only a 3.6 or so. My rating here is an average of the two versions.
