A superb pale ale brewed with Gilroy's own yeast. The Gilroy Favourite has 4% alcohol by volume, earning its place as the favourite pale ale. "This beer is thin in body, light and extremely easy to drink. But this does not mean devoid of flavour. It is a session beer with a lovely dry finish which makes you want to open another straight away " BJ Lankwarden (Diners Club SA Beer Drinkers Guide) Lankwarden Rating: 7/10

Probably the best best I ever had love it! Drank my way around the world and it's by far the best! You can drink it all day and it doesn't leave you bloated or needing to take a leak every 10 minutes. Overall a well balanced beer, aroma, taste, after taster, just perfect. And that is why I call it "FLAVOURITE"

This beer is a flavorsome, yeasty ale. Not, in my opinion, Gilroy's finest offering--can be a little bit too yeasty and bitter at times. Still beats any of the carbonated fizz-pop beers out there however.
