Clear pale yellow, white short lasting foam head. Barley aroma and weak barley taste, some sweet tones. Typical taste for this style, bit too flat for my butts. (Velp 201608)

500 ml bottle. Poured in a 0.2 l Kölsch Stange a clear golden yellow colored Kölsch with a two fingers white foamy head that had a mid-sized retention. Active carbonation. Great lacing. The aroma is grainy malts, slightly fruity. The flavour is grainy malts, fruity, citrus and cooked vegetables, cabbages. The mouthfeel is slight crispy and spicy. This light bodied Kölsch has a light dry finish. Overall a very averaging Kölsch.

Pale golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grassy malts and hops., Flavour is very grassy with some malty and hoppy hints. Even a bit acidic in the finish.

Poured the usual pale golden color (some of these alts are just the same old same old in terms of appearance) with a fluffy white and somewhat foamy head, good lacing. The aroma was a bit on the fruity side of things, but the flavor was a little disappointing: a bit watery. Mouthfeel was also a little too light to be a very good example of the style. Nevertheless, this (as are most kolsch beers) was quite refreshing on a sunny summer day in Cologne.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with a loose, slim white head. Sweet malty and hoppy aroma. Quite a nice sweet and malty taste initially, followed by a light hoppy bitter finish. Medium bodied. A reasonable Kölsch.
