Dark, sweet, full-bodied and chewy, this is the Barleywine of Porters. A similar flavor profile to the always popular Chocolate Thunder, this baby is way out of control! Served in 10-ounce goblets only. 9.0% ABV 35 IBU

Tried this a couple years ago. I must say that I wasn't ready for how strong this was. Very dark color to it. When it poured, it poured very well from the tap. Nice foamy head with just the right amount of brussels lace.

Excellent porter. Had it at the brewpub. Dark brown in color. Roasty aroma. It has a big roasty flavor. Very good.

Poured a dark brown and red color with a tan head which left nice lacing. Roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and some dark fruit in the aroma. Chocolate, smoke, anise and alcohol in the taste. This had a rather oily mouthfeel.
