Jalapenos and beer should not be in a bottle together. Eat a pepper and wash it down with a beer. This is no slight to Garrison, it is a shot at the "Pepper Beer" genre as a whole.

Um..........was not sure what to make of this. I'm not a huge fan of hot peppers, and was not a fan of this beer. A little spice is nice.....but too much sucks.

what have we here?...the first strike out for Garison on a flavored ale! Poured a pale, lightly clouded gold...weak cap no retention, weak lacing Aroma of mustiness, fresh crushed follage and some pepper. Pepper, peppers and more peppers...that's all I got and a hot burn in the finish...too hot and peppery to taste or smell malts or hops...a write-off IMHO

What a unique beer. The only way to truely express the experience is the liken it to eating a pepper. The head is less intense, and as you progress through the body the pepper taste gets stronger and stronger, until you reach the dregs, which tastes just like eating the tip of a jalapeno. Not a beer for those who arent into peppers. Great taste, the true heat of the pepper is shown in the aftertaste of a nice pepper burn on the back of palate. You can easily distinguish the Jalapeno, Habanero, Scotch Bonnet's and the other peppers. What a great experience.
