No, there’s no actual MoonPie in this beer — instead, we brew with chocolate husks from Raleigh’s great artisan chocolate-maker, Escazu. Enjoy a lunch break for a new era. Had as Working Man’s Nudge. Taps opaque chocolate brown with a nice light tan head. Weak aroma offers a bit of toasted malt. Flavor, happily, is much stronger, featuring roast malt, caramel, biscuit and subtle toffee notes. Firm body delivers good fizz. Let’s do lunch, nudge nudge!
