Bengal Lancer is the brand new, classic India Pale Ale from Fuller’s. Brewed to 5% ABV, this ale has been inspired by the history and character of this traditional style of beer. Available exclusively in a select number of Fuller’s pubs during February, and further free trade outlets in March, Bengal Lancer is a fabulous addition to our seasonal ales range. The beer is pale in colour, full-bodied with a distinctive hoppiness that marks it out as a true India Pale Ale.

Malty aroma has a good hoppy overtone. Pours a beautiful clear dark amber with a fairly thick pale buff head. Strongly hoppy flavor has malty and fruity notes, barely any bitterness. Smooth texture has about average body and a good amount of tingle and fizz. Nothing special, but definitely worthy of at least a try.

Bought in a bottle from the supermarket. A really nice colour when poured with a well proportioned head. Lots of fruity flavours along with a hint of yeast. Leaves quite a dry taste in the mouth afterwards.

This is one of the most refreshing bitters I have ever had. A beauitiful clear golden-red pour with a nice rocky whitish cap. Caramel malt, some yeast, and lots of floral hops in the aroma. The flavour is well balanced between the citrus of the hops and sweetness of the caramel, and very refreshing.

The beer poured a translucent amber colour with a white bubbly head. The aroma was citrus hops, grainy malt, and light fruit tones. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour was citrus, grains, and some yeast. Very refreshing and drinkable. -

Bottle (5.3%) bought from the local supermarket. Pours a dark orange colour with a reasonable head that lasts a while. Very fruity taste, but also slightly smokey. A smooth, warm finish leaves you wanting more. Disguises the alcohol well and is remarkably refreshing. The best IPA I've ever tasted (apart from the dogfish head 90 minute beast) owing to the slight sweetness that takes the edge off slightly. Well worth a flutter.

Cask@Beer Hunters, Pori. Goldeny amber colour, mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, bread and some slight ntoes of herbs. Flavour is wood, fruits, yeast and some mild eggy notes as well.
