Continuing our summer sun series, Spotless is named to honor our sun that has been spotless for over a year. This aggressive IPA has a rich golden color with a fruity finish. The beer is well hopped to 70 with Willamette and Zeus hops lending the beer a bright bitterness and a rich hop flavor.

Aroma is hoppy and somewhat yeasty - not strong, but still promising. It pours a clear yellow amber with a fluffy white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. Flavor is strongly hoppy with hints of grapefruit and evergreen. Texture is smooth with a lively tingle that persists in the mouth after the brewski has headed downstairs.

It pours a light copper with thick white head and very copious lacing. An instant aroma of caramel malts, hops, grapefruit, peach, and some spicing. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, pine, grapefruit, and choice spices. Good IPA!

22oz bottle. Pours a clear copper gold with a medium white frothy head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is subdued - sweet malts and minty, grassy hops.
The flavor is a big watery bitterness, kind of charred with a little sweet biscuity malt. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation, slightly watery.
Overall, this was very subdued. I didn't get much in the aroma, and although there was a lot of bitterness, there was not much real flavor. -

Sampled on 8/20/2010. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, sweet, orange and citrusy. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity, caramel and sweet, lot of orange and apricot flavors. Hops are citrusy and orange, a touch floral and earthy as well. A medium bitter IPA. Nice carbonation. The hop bitterness tends to linger throughout this beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
