Pours a clear, slightly reddish amber, bit of an off-white head. Aroma is decidedly hoppy with a grapefruit underpinning. Strongly hoppy flavor has more than a hint of sour citrus, more orange than grapefruit, and just a touch of honey sweetness. Lively texture is on the viscous side and leaves behind a pleasant and persistent tingle. Hop to it.

On tap @ Bearden Beer Market. Clear light copper color, white head, ample lacing. Grapefruit, light apricots and pine in the nose and palate, nicely malted, nice and citrus fruity, good bitter linger. Worthy, will seek this summer.

Had this on tap at Jack of the Wood in Asheville: Pours a pretty clear amber, off white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, notes of pine resin, grapefruit and fig on the nose. Taste is impressively hopped, tangy and tropical.
