The latest evolution in beer styles has come from the West Coast where they don't believe that there is such a thing as 'too much hops'! The style is Imperial IPA and ours features 3 very potent American hop varieties, Columbus, Chinook and Cascade - hence the name C3. Hops are added at just about every stage of the process from the mash all the way through to a very generous 'dry hop'. This beer needs a lot of strength to support all those hops so note the high Original Gravity.

draft.. Poured a hazy orange color with a large white head. Aroma was heavy on hops with a nice sweet addition. The flavor on this was hop overload in a good way!! sticky resinous hoppy that slapped you in the face at the first drink and kept giving upper cuts throughout. there was a good amount of sweetness in this beer but it was no match for the amount of hoppiness. Medium mouthfeel with good carbonation and I could not detect an alcohol flavor at all but after 3 glasses of this I definitely knew it was there. Its been two days since I drank this and I can still taste the hops.

Very nice. This beer features a BIG "C" hop aroma. Full of hop flavor with enough malt to hang. MED/FULL body. I was surpised to see this beer listed as a double/imperial IPA. To drink it, it seems just a touch stronger that Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.

From my kegerator. Really good Imperial IPA. Very strong citrus flavor. Cloudy, orange color with thick white head. Strong bitter, grapefruit aftertaste completes the overall excellent Imperial IPA.
