Sort of a light brown but then again the real Munchen Dunkels aren't real big on flavor or aroma either so I guess this fits the bill. The one thing I realy couldn't get past was the mouthfeel, way too light and watery. Otherwise a very mild and easy going beer, no real dominating flavors, a smooth lager.

Poured a nice light colored brown ale, good aroma.. a little thin in the body, flavor was decent. Not overly bittered , could consume a couple of these. All around a decent beer.

This is what a dubkel should be! Deep mahogany colored beer with a small foamy textured, light beige colored beer. Good gang time. Settles into a thick ringlet. Roasted malt in the nose. That and some grassy hops make up the profile. Full bodied and smooth. REALLY NICE

Doesn't say mittner muncher on the bottle, just Dunkel and Frankenmuth 1862. Harsher dark dunkel flavor. Good for a sour bitter with dark burnt sugar flavor and white head. Not much else.

Ah, a crisp dunkle with a moderate roasted malt content and a splash of bittering hops. Clean with an easy sweetness and a succinct finish. Dark body and an all around pleasing brew.
