The transatlantic influence of American brewing inspired us to make a beer with big, bold hops in an easy drinking, sessionable package. We use Mosaic, Simcoe, Cascade & Centennial to deliver a powerful hit of exciting hop character. New York in the Summer is hot, if you head up into the Catskill mountains you can find relief amongst the shady trails or by a forest lake, but New York, New York, well that's a different story. Outside of Central Park you'll find very little other than glass, concrete and steel, steam rises from grates in the sidewalk whilst countless bodies commandeer the tight spaces between tall buildings. Days are loud and frantic but at night the city really comes alive. The heat dissipates slowly and the cities bars and restaurants fill to the brim with workers, commuters and tourists who are treated to some of the world's finest food and drink. It's a treat to the senses, and that combination of warm, busy evenings with bold food and easy leisure, has inspired our flagship Session IPA. The punchy aroma and vibrant flavours match well with a vast array of foods and the lower ABV means you can enjoy this beer well into the evening and still pack in a full itinerary the next day.
