http://foundersbrewing.com/our-beer/azacca-ipa/ Named for the Haitian god of agriculture, the Azacca hop boasts intense, tropical fruit notes. Azacca IPA includes a touch of caramel malt to provide a sweet backbone to the citrus, mango and orchard fruit notes in this 7% ABV, 70 IBUs beer. The label artwork symbolizes the god of agriculture watching over a field where the ingredients used to make the beer are being grown.

Pours translucent honey golden with a thick, fine-bubbled buff head. Aroma delivers hoppy and fruity notes, the latter as much pomme as citrus, pleasing flavor is a bold chord of hoppy, malty, citrus and pomme notes with a hint of tropical fruit. Firm mouthfeel has strong fizz. Azacca Azacca Azacca!

12 oz bottle, bottle 12/23/15. Pours hazy amber gold with a big bubbly white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet fruity hops with some malt in the background.

The flavor is sweet bready malt with tropical fruit and resiny hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nice fruity resiny hop IPA.

Darker than most ipa's. Big bubbly head could have lasted longer. Juicy fruity aroma and flavour. Tropical fruits, earthy, pine, lemon and pineapple flavours. Solid malt backbone. Slithery smooth mouthfeel. Mmmmm juicy, juicy.

A bright amber colored beer with a big sudsy textured, off whit head rising above. There's decent hang time on the head. A moderate ringlet and low lying film are left. Some breadiness and citrus in the nose. The citric hoppiness more dominate in the tasting. But very clean and sessionable.
