Some days we can’t understand just how we landed here. Through luck and tricks it often seems. On those days we turn to Impostor Syndrome, an American IPA that masquerades as a hoppy saison, and hope no one notices we shouldn’t be here. Loaded with Galaxy and Sorachi Ace hops, Impostor Syndrome has loads of tropical fruit character - almost coconut like - with an additional fruity contribution from the Brett Claussenii in our house mixed fermentation culture. Hops: Magnum, Galaxy, Sorachi Ace Yeast: House Light Blend Malts: Pilsner, Munich I, Carafoam, Caramunich I, Carahell

Now I'm one of those ones that will try a beer twice - once out of the receptacle it comes in, and then out of the glass. I have found that most times, depending on the quality of the brew, it is better out of one than it is out of the other. In this case, it is the glass. And what a magnificent brew it is. Not lip puckering. Highly drinkable even when it gets warm. If grass came in a pie format that's about the closest I can equate the aroma to. Yet, it's not like any grass I've ever whiffed. Not that it necessarily smells like pie either. Very smooth and delicate mouthfeel. Nice colour and while the head is thin, it does last a while.

The beer poured a hazed metallic gold colour with a white frothy cap that lasted. The aroma was citrus, funk, yeast, and tart fruit. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was funk, grains, light apple, and yeast.
