Another great limited edition beer from FM that comes in a box. Pours a clean copper colour with a beige creamy head, decent retention and some lacing. Big maple syrup nose taking over the aroma department. Hints of molasses and toffee, caramel malts. Sweet malty taste with the maple and the hoppy bitterness shows up. It does become quite sweet with the syrup but at least the mouthfeel is not syrupy, but slightly dry. I do not feel the wheat, but an overall good brew for those who like the maple syrup. A little too sweet for my taste, for such a bit bottle like this.

Pours an extremely large amount of foamy, brownish head that stays for a while. Leaves thick lacing. Has a dark brown appearance. Sweet aromas of chocolate chips, mints and mild cinnamon. Some fairly strong maple aromas all around. Very strong alcohol taste slightly masked by chocolate and cookie dough flavours. Fairly sweet with notes of mints and vanilla, as well as light wheat. The maple is pretty noticeable throughout. Huge thick mouthcoating sensation with a nice warming sensation. Very good and flavourful but just too much to take in by yourself with a 750ml bottle. Made to share. Always great packaging!

The beer pours a solid dark brown with black edges and a 1" head which doesn't last very long. The aroma is maple syrup, wheat, roast, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, with average carbonation. The flavour is alcohol, maple, wheat, and more alcohol. This is very similar to a dunkelweizen, except North American wheat yeast was used.
