Pours a dark brown colour with amber-ruby higlights. Nice creamy, mocha head, long lasting with some great lacing. The smell reminds me of the Big Turk chocolate bar with the raspberry jelly and cocoa notes. The taste shows the cocoa powder with the berries. Chocolate, roasted malts and some nice richness that is not too much. A very well-blended raspberry stout.

The aroma immediately reminded me of Cadbury's Milk Tray, Strawberry Temptation: Milk chocolate with a smooth strawberry filling and a layer of vanilla creme. That's the best thing about the beer. It is as advertised, a tart raspberry(Juice) and stout. I am not a fan of fruit flavoured stout but once again I was taken in by the over the top advertising on the box. Thinner mouthfeel than expected and only looks good for a couple of minutes.

750ml bottle in beautiful packaged box and artwork, from LCBO. Pours a huge frothy, creamy tan head and has a dark brown appearance. Lots of sticky dirty lacing. Raspberry and chocolate aromas are immediately noticeable, no joke. Also some cocoa, roasted malts, hints of vanilla. Raspberry flavour is more at the forefront with the rich dark chocolate notes coming more towards the finish but both blending quite well together. It's fairly sweet but not offensive in the least. Great retention and full bodied mouthfeel. Has a little bit of a tarty finish as well. Some bitterness on the palate but very subtle. Good stuff!
