Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

This beer pours with a black body showing some deep burganday around the edges with a creamy khaki colored head that left light lace down the glass. Aroma is milky with some roasted malt and bitter cocoa. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, flavor is roasted malts with a distinct oceanic flavor that is right out front with some coffee and creamy tones as well.

Pours a dark brown colour with a huge foamy head. body is quite thin so I don't think the oysters have helped in that department. Roasty and mineral aroma. Roasted malt and bitter choclate flavor. Ok stout.

I had this beer at Beamer's in Roanoke, VA. First, I thought the beer was good, however, I could've used a bit more brine - it's the hallmark of the style - don't be afraid. Overall, nice brew, best name EVER.

Pours at jet black with a slight tan head. I'm a salt water fisherman & the best way I can describe the smell of this beer. Is it smells like a chocolate bar in a bait shop. The mouthfeel is smooth with just a touch of salt. The taste is interesting with hints of chocolate and honestly like oysters.

i dog this style and this one fits the bill, though not elite or anything. Slightly more brine in the aroma than taste, but present in both. Otherwise a nice malted chocolate and roasted malt stout. Light to medium bodied and pleasant.

Trying to finish up my sampling of every style, so I grabbed this oyster stout off the shelf as soon as I saw it. Also did some research on the style and found this one actually uses whole oysters in the mash. Super interesting. Black with tall head. Sweet chocolatey aroma. Decent stout flavors of coffee, chocolate. There may have been a hint of brininess or it may have just been in my head after all the oyster stout research. Medium bodied and pleasantly drinkable. Not a big Flying Dog follower, but this is a pretty good session stout.

Thin and nutty like a nut Brown but dark enough and just enough roast notes that I am ok calling it a mild stout. Mild sweet flavor, easy to drink, really not bad at all. Thought it was a gimmick but this is decent beer, I would get this again and it benefits a charity to boot.

Pretty dark brown with fluffy light brown foam head. Aroma is weak, coffee and caramel. Taste is a little dissapointing, weak bitter, small coffee, had more anticipation. Aftertaste is dry, short lasting. (Velp 201303)

pours black with amber/red apperance when held up to the light with small tanish head and leaves an good lacing on the glass. The aroma is of burnt coffee beans, milk Chocolate, roasted malts, bit of toffee. The taste is a little watery, foward coffee, milk chocolate, roasted malts, and toffee. The mouthfeel is medium with fairly mellow carbonation. Note Stouts and Porters are not my favorite style of beer, and can't stand coffee.

Nice ebony blackness with a light, tight bubbled tan head rising briefly above. Not much retention. a thick ringlet, though is left behind. Chocolate, roastiness nose. I'm getting a little brine, bit mostly chocolate. Light bodied.
