A Bavarian style of hefeweizen, a cloudy brew with slight hints of banana and clove. Light and refreshing.

The scene: A warm, late summer day on Whidbey Island's Jenne Farm, at a gathering of friends and family to celebrate my brother's weddding. This beer from nearby Oak Harbor really hit the spot! Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a dense white cap of foam. The aroma is spot-on, with clove most evident, and a waft of banana in there, too. The flavor features the fruity sweetness more prevalently. The body is light, crisp, and refreshing. The finish lingers a very long time, and some surprisingly peppery flavors emerge. A fine example to the style and most refreshing. Klaus says, "Das ist gut bier!"
