In the fall of 2008, "The Three" (Todd Ashman, Matt Van Wyk, Zac Treimert) joined forced to brew Collaborative Evil. This dark, delicious creation with spices and exotic sugars could only be made better with time - time in an oak barrel. Here at Flossmoor, that’s exactly what Matt did. Since he’s now brewing in Oregon, this is my tribute to Matt, my standing Ovation to his years at Flossmoor. Cheers! Bryan Shimkos

This was a masterpeice of a beer. Sadly, no longer available from the brewpub, but people have been sitting on Matt's creation for a while now. I tried this recently at a friend's house in a Chitown suburb. It's a dark reddish-brown with a thin tan coloured cap. Nice aroma of dark fruits, roasted malt, alcohol and smoked wood permeate the air. A full bodied beer that tastes great. Malty and fruity with a touch of molasses.
