Our deep, dark, full-bodied lager. A slightly bittersweet chocolate aroma with a malty body that hints at dark fruits. It's complex and very enjoyable with a touch of roast finish. This may be the best beer we make all year long. Also available in bottles (bottle version is called Flossmoor Station Killer Kapowski Baltic Porter)

Rated in Oct. 2009. Big thanks to fishingnet for scoring yet more tasty Flossmoor brews. Pours deep mahogany with tan head. The aroma has chocolate, some roast and then it seems to move into thick dark fruity esters. The taste begins creamy with some velvety pelt like fuzziness bringing a touch of earthiness and then rich chocolate. By midway it moves into more earthiness and loads of musty prunes, dates and figs. It ends with drying roastiness and chocolate. All the chocolate is pretty darn yummy and amazing but pulls this a bit out of style. But big deal. It’s damn good.

A great Baltic Porter. It pours a very dark brown, almost black with a thin tan head. The aroma is rich with raosted malt, chocolate, dark fruits, and a little yeast. The flavour is as rich and complex as the aroma with plenty of olfactory delights like chocolate, plums, and spices.
