For the latest iteration of our DDH series, we thought we’d go back to simpler times, where you could see through your beer and it was still cool to be bitter. This riff on our ever popular West Coast IPA features an inexcusably heavy dry hop of Simcoe and Mosaic, producing waves of pine, grapefruit, orange, and floral notes alongside a solid malt backbone.

Clean golden colour at first with a warm frothy-creamy head, good retention, leaving some some nice lacing. Grassy aromas from the West Coast style hoppiness with some orange notes, and lemon zest. The taste shows lots of citrus peel with the grassiness underneath. This creates quite a bitter beer with a nice dry finish. A very light haze at the last pour, but not really hazy like their East Coast versions. A little spiciness does come out in the flavours, making this one nicely brewed for a non-juicy DDH IPA.
