Une I.P.A. brune à la mousse blanche de bonne tenue. La couleur est brune, bien clarifiée au sortir de la cave. Au nez, l'amertume typique du houblon américain Amarillo utilisé au houblonnage à cru ne passe pas inaperçue. Ses notes d'agrumes sont agréables et laissent présager une vrai I.P.A. En bouche, l'attaque est désaltérante malgré le taux d'alcool, l'amertume des houblons Cascade (USA ) et Brewer's Gold ( Belgique ) en est la cause, elle est suivie par la plénitude apportée par les malts caramélisés qui contrebalancent délicatement les houblons en y ajoutant une rondeur persistante. L'I.P.A. revisitée par la Brasserie de Fleurac n'a pas fini de vous surprendre, elle évoluera comme toutes les bières houblonnées à cru en vous faisant découvrir de nouvelles saveurs au fil des mois de garde.

330 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Fleurac glass a hazy dark brown-red coloured D.I.P.A. with a generous two fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of bubbles. Soft carbonation. Superb lacing. The aroma is strong aromatic hops, toasted and caramel malts, coffee beans. The flavour is a heavy hoppy bitterness, piney hops, caramel malts, biscuits, dark bitter chocolate, notes of aciditic fruits, grapefruit, lemon. The mouthfeel is creamy, full and very smooth. This full bodied D.I.P.A. has a lingering bitter hoppy finish. Again an excellent surprise from this young brewer. I think he is a real magician in his art.
