The Dunkel Weizen is our Hefeweizen with three colored malts added to give the brew its dark color and hint of caramel roasted flavors. European Saaz, Tettnang and Perle hops provide a slight bitterness and add some hop flavor. A true hefeweizen yeast strain is used to give the banana and clove flavors associated with the style. The ABV is 5.2% and hop bitterness is 11 Bitterness Units (BU).
