A British Pale Ale never tasted so fresh. We challenge our good friends across the pond to match this one. Can’t be done. We’ve honored the traditions of the great British Pale brewers of Burton-on-Trent using our patented Firestone Union oak barrels. You’re left with a mild blend of vanilla and toasted oak flavor touched with an elegant hint of English noble hops. DBA is the flagship of our company and wildly popular. Pours barely translucent cinnamon with a thin parchment head. Aroma presents toasted malt, piney hops, fruity notes. Flavor gives toasted malt, sweet and tangy fruit, piney hops and toffee. Texture features smooth, good body and peppy fizz. Double your barrel!

Purchased at Trader Joe in Vegas. Pours an amber colour with a warm cap and decent lacing. Hoppy fresh grass aromas with fruity malts. Fruity malts taste as well with some nice grain, middle bitterness and caramel. This is quite a nice fruity, but not over-the-top, English Pale Ale.

pours a great copper color with small head but it lasts and leaves a thick ring lace after each sip, nice & clear. The aroma is deep, roasted caramel smell, but it's not sweet. Balancing floral hop. The taste is mildly sweet with nice hop balance but not overly hoppy. The taste was much better than expected, very refreshing. The mouth feel was light bodied and with just the right amount of carbonation.

This is a really good beer. With it's Nice aroma and smooth taste, I have made this my 'go to' everyday beer. There is always a 12 pk of DBA in my fridge when I'm not trying and other type of beer.

It was true to type in every respect and nothing threatening or hateful about it, but it just didn't rock my boat. It was good enough, but paled in comparison to others sampled that night and during my trip. I usually try to judge a beer on its own merits, likewise here - avearge and predictable.

I blame myself for expecting more of this beer. Only looking at the name, I thought I was in for a much bigger beer so I was a little disappointed with such a mild brew. Removing my ill-conceived hype, this is still a rather plain, simple beer; sweet and malty with a very subdued hop bitterness.

It pours a light copper and burnt-orange with a thick and foamy white and orange head with some thick lacing. An aroma of caramel malts, hops, orange and citrus, bitterness, bread, and spiciness. The mouthfeel is too thin. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, bread, bitterness, orange and citrus, and spiciness. Good!

This was a dissapointing brew. I had it really hyped in my mind, had only heard whispered stories about the infamous Firestone Walker. Well this was biscuit, amber, carmel, slight dark toffee, simple syrup, sourdough and malts. Slight floral hops, like roses and carnations. Simple beer that seems to have no benefit from anything to do with barrels. I hope the Double Jack in the cellar is better.

Slovenian hops..........who knew? A beautiful golden-red pour with a nice white head. Sweet malt, some yeast, and floral hops dominate the nose. The flavour is mild sweetness balancing out the finishing hops. I could drink this beer all day every day.

Has a sharp, pine hop aroma. Pours a big antique white head. Nice Dark copper color beer. Pretty good lacing. I was thinking it would be a sweet beer, but it's actually pretty hoppy. Light-medium body with a little too much carbonation. Lingering, but pleasant bitter finish.
