St. Eve’s, Steve Donohue (FireHouse) and Steve Altimari (High Water Brewing), brewed this beer in Collaboration for Beer Revolution’s 2nd Anniversary. This beer combines the elements of a Belgian Strong Golden, a Tripel, and a Belgian IPA. So, basically, its a Belgian Strong Ale with a St. Eve twist.

Sampled on 2/4/2012 at Beer Revolution. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, orange, sweet and yeasty. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange, orange peel. The hops are citrusy, grapefruity and earthy. Lively carbonation. Interesting this beer has the fruitiness and yeastiness of a triple and the hoppiniess of an IPA. Hides the 9.5% alcohol very well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, smooth and dry. The aftertaste is slightly sweet with some orange peel.
