Faxe Strong is a characterful beer with 8,4 % alcohol. The taste is an extraordinary experience. This beer got more bite and taste than a traditional Lager. But still it's an easily drinkable beer with a very light colour and a light but characteristic taste. The faint sweetness combined with the high alcohol percentage gives a balanced product with a vinous taste.

Yuck! The beer pours a golden brown colour with a nice white head, and a waft above the glass is poure alcohol. No malt, no hops, no ancilliary aromas....just alcohol. The flavour was a typical grainy lager, with metallic and acidic tones all competing with the alcohol...and losing.

A clear solid gold colour that appears thick. Dumped out into the glass and produced an OK white head that fades to a ring and looks flat overall. It has a nonoffensive but cheap malt aroma with some alcohol and seems somewhat sharp. The taste is so-so with lots of hard alcohol flavour, decent malts, apple juice and hops. Medium bodied. The mouthfeel is fairly smooth and soft and has a drying malt aftertaste.

Pours a bright golden colour like you get with malts like Bullmax and OE. The high alcohol content is clearly distinguishable right from the start but is an easier drink than an OE or Bull, wouldn't try this again but if you are into OE and Bullmax give this a try.

This is one good lookin bullmax if you ask me. It pours a dark dark golden colour and smells like a bag of dicks but for such a strong beer you can actually drink it. If I could ever find this beer in a 40oz I'd be all over it.

Really I don't see a difference between this one, Regular Faxe, and Faxe 10 percent, except maybe Faxe 10% has a bit more rubbing alcohol taste. All three beers are crap.

From the can, this poured a darkish gold with a moderate white head, which left some nice lacing (a small bit). Aroma was mostly malt with something else in the background, fruit perhaps? Taste was a bit of malt and the high ABV was clearly evident. Easy to drink for a strong beer.

clear bright golden colour, almost no foam, light aroma of apple and orange, sweet and full-bodied, long malty and slightly fruity finish with a late alcohol kick - surprisingly good for a malt liquor

Just like their 10%, pours a golden-yellow light colour with a descent white head, and mild lacing. Looks like a plain lager, and retention is not bad. Says 8.0% on the can. Smells malty with hints of lemon and alcohol. A few spots are releasing carbonation, but that is about it. Watery flat mouthfeel with not much burn. A mild taste of bitterness with some apple aftertaste. No corn compared to the 10%, but still prefered the other one.
