Kiss the hand of the Quadfather but don’t overindulge. This Belgian style ale is deep gold in color, brewed with corn sugar and candy sugar to boost the alcohol and is fermented with 4 strains of Belgian yeast.

Pours a light amber/brown, color is more like a standard ale than a Quad. Fluffy off white head and blanketing lacing. Aroma quickly produces a familiar Blegian yeast scent followed by baked goods and a pleasant spiciness. Gentle on the palate, it’s got a nice sweet side along with a mild earthiness. Flavor is more involved than the aroma with the addition of some apricot and pear notes. Not a typical Quad per style, still a great Belgian Type Ale.
