http://burdisson-brewery.fantasybrewmasters.com/ The first of many to come, Burdisson’s Dwarven Ale is the legendary brew that started it all. “Burdisson's Dwarven Ale pours a rich brown with a hint of mahogany. The nose immediately picks up on the intermingling chocolate and caramel malts bathed in the fruity esters. The taste complements the smell, bringing out the depth of the chocolate and caramel malts. Smooth across the tongue with a medium body, ending with a dry but sweet finish… a surprisingly easy drinking beer given it's apparent alcohol and dark appearance.” Now available at locations throughout Long Island and online through Bierkraft.

Pours out a really dark brown with a thin head. The aroma is of cheap wine the mouth feel is sour. And the taste is of a bottle of cheap wine that has gone bad.

Picked this up at House of Brews. Dark mahogany-brown. Big foamy textured light beige head with good retention. Settles eventually into a thick ringlet. Dark fruitiness in the nose. Nice dance of nuttiness, roasty malt and light coffee in the tasting. Full bodied and smooth. Very Good!
