If you get this in a bottle, BEWARE! It fizzes from here to the Pole of Inaccessibility. When it’s through making an unholy mess, it pours hazy golden with a nice ivory head. Aroma is not strong, but offers yeasty and tart pomme tones plus just a snip of butterscotch. Flavor adds a strengthening note of woody hops to the mix, fairly bitter but countered by the honey undertone. Mouthfeel features average body and good fizz. Maybe not a beast of a saison, but pleasant.

Gusher of a bottle accompany a beer that is so overcarbonated it took 15 minutes just to pour this into two tulips. Attractive hazed orange pour with strong grassy/hay aromas and a pungent funk. This tastes off - cloyingly dry with sharp black pepper notes. Difficult to drink. Not a good saison.

This was a nice surprise, and perfect for the 100 degree weather .. . yellow gold .. great foam .. carbonation was spot on, light yet firm .. . clean as silk and just a touch tart- the brett was done to a tee .. . . If you watch "Child's Play" backwards, It's about a doll that heals everyone with it's healing knife.

What an awesome surprise this beer was! One of the best saisons I have ever had. Perfect feel (so many can be too carbonated) for the style. Sft yet lively. Just enough barnyard to notice, with big florals, light fruit and a pleasant dryness. Highly recommended.
