April 2017: 1 US pint can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of piney and fruity American hops, including notes of tropical fruits. Distinctly hoppy flavour, pine needles and resin, tropical fruits and grapefruit, very bitter finish.

16 oz can. Pours clear gold with some very fine floaties and a big frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet sugary bready malt with some funky fruit.

The flavor is sweet sugary bready crystal malt with ripe fruit and a big grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, very sweet, sugary, under-attenuated and a bit worty with some fruit and grassy hops in the background.

An orange color with a small white head. The aroma contains some pine, oranges, and perfume. The flavor is somewhat bitter with some orange peels and lemons. The aftertaste is slightly bitter. It lacks that punch you in the face West Coast thing and has a good malt balance. Rock Me Amadeus!

Strong, hoppy aroma has a very firm overtone of sour citrus and sweet evergreen. Pours a clear solar yellow with a rather thick and persistent pale buff head. Flavor is typically hoppy, but lacks the strong fruit note promised by the aroma. Citrus is still present, but not as boldly. Bitterness is strong but not overpowering. Texture is smooth, somewhat firm; but fizz leaves something to be desired. Overall, though, not too shabby.
