Offering a hop-heads paradise, this unfiltered Northwest-Style India Pale Ale introduces a big floral hop character to the aroma, flavor and finish. Hops, Hops, Hops from front to back but nicely offset with a malty richness that prevents this ale from being overbearing. This comes out of the tap a beautiful hazy, opaque, dark honey golden - very appetizing. Aroma is seriously hoppy and has a strong evergreen-ish undertone, promising a beer that is a hop lover's dream. The very rich flavor is fiercely hoppy, and has a strong evergreen component and some malt undertone; bitterness is not strong or nasty. Texture is buttery smooth but lively and tingly. Strongly recommended to all who appreciate hoppy beers.

Tasted on tap at Rogue Ale House in Eugene. This IPA pours a hazy gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and piney. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral and piney. More hops in the aroma than in the flavor. Not a lot of hop bitterness or hop bite. There is some bitterness at the finish. Good balance. Nice juicy hops finish. Most definitely an IPA, it’s just not a very bitter one. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
