Estaminet owes its excellent quality to the selection of the best natural ingredients: soft water, 100% high-quality spring barley, a distinctive yeast and very expensive Saaz hop. The full density, the slow and traditional long fermentation that gives it a fruity character and a maturation of 6 full weeks make Estaminet a real Belgian Premium lager. Gold medal at the World Beer Awards 2017 (Lager) Type Pilsener Ingredients Water, summer barley, yeast and Saaz-hop Fermentation Low fermentation Flavour Full, fruity, subtle hop flavor Color EBC: 6

On tap at Prachtig, Rotterdam. Golden colour, white head, some lacing. Standard pilsener aroma and flavour, some malts, herbal and floral notes. Moderate bitterness. Okay with my ravioli & gambas, but does not really stand out from the crowd.

Pours clear yellow with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled pale buff head. Aroma is crisp and malty, a touch fruity, not strong but inviting. Flavor is crisp and malty with a fruity undertone, typical of a pils but satisfying. Mouthfeel presents average fizz and body. Fair, but quite drinkable.

Pours a pale clear gold body with a thin short-lived white head. The aroma is biscuity, bread, grassy & fruity aroma. The taste consists of grain, bread & light fruit, grape flavors. Sweet and a bit watery. The mouth feel is smooth light bodied, clean and refreshing with a dry finish.

Body of light apple cider like color, crisp white head that stayed around as a small cap. Grassy herbal scent with a mild grain mixed in. Flavor has a very smooth grainy taste to start, some apple and white grape flavors. Herbal hops and touch of bittering mixes in. Has a bit of a funk to it. Light bodied and crisp on the palate. Overall its a decent pilsner, not bad.

Had this one at WOB. It pours golden in color. There is lots of carbonation rushing to the top, forming a thin, bubbly head that lasts. Small unimpressive ringlet and nice film are what is left. The profile is of grain, some floral notes and a hint of sulfur. A crisp, dry finish and ample carbonation.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, mild fruityness, some grass and hay. Flavour is being quite similar with also some mild spicy/herbal notes to it. Decent pils.
