The day the world stood still and Elysian brewed a Hazy IPA. Rules were broken to bring you Contact Haze, a tangled chemistry of mild haze, low bitterness, and an explosion of hop aroma. Bursts of bright raspberry, currant, citrus, guava, and passion fruit, with a slight floral note. MALT:Pale Ale Malt, Flaked Barley, and Oat Malt. HOPS: El Dorado, Mosaic, Southern Passion, Sabro, Citra, and Sultana.

Pours hazy banana with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma yields resiny hops, creamy fresh malt, and a citrus underpinning. Flavor presents tangy citrus with sweetish tropical notes on the side, dry piney hops, zesty fresh malt - goes down well! Texture delivers decent body and peppy fizz. Make contact with a glass.

Long lasting tropical nose ... guava, lemon, hint of cereal. Very pale yellow body with small head leaves a white skim coat with little lacing. Thin mouth, almost watery, with decent tingle. Tangerine, White Pepper, some pith on the finish. Flavors go away fast leaving just a touch of fruit on the palate. This really feels like a low cal low alcohol brew and yet it isn't. Kind of odd. Not objectionable, sessionable.
