A bigger cousin of the English Pale, India Pale Ales were originally brewed with extra alcohol and lots of hops, both of which served to preserve the beer on teh long voyage from England to the colony. Dry hopped with a distinct floral essence.

Nice IPA and a bit unique. Drank out of bottle so not to able to judge appearance or aroma. I suspect its a medium to dark copper with lots of hops in the nose. Mouth is medium to thick with excellent carbonation. Perhaps its just me but it hinted at a brown ale in the flavor profile but very nicely bitter with quite a bit of malt. ABU, not listed here, was I believe 7.8; it certainly had a kick to it though the alcohol was very well masked. I liked this beer a lot!
