May 2019: Rerate: Cask 1/3 pint at the 46th Cambridge Beer Festival, 2019. Black colour, tan head. Aroma of chocolate and oatmeal. Smooth flavour, medium sweet, chocolate and oatmeal again, low bitterness. Original rating: Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Oddbins Chiswick. BB 06/2014. ABV is 5.8%. Black colour, minimal tan head. Aroma of oats, chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth flavour, oats, coffee and chocolate again, also liquorice.
