Sampler at Dust Bowl -
Another one of the Top 5 at Dust Bowl. It's a darker IPA than usual, and while not a Black IPA (or Cascadian or whatever you want to call it) the color of the beer really is an amberish/copper/red. The aroma was as catty of an aroma as I can recall. Underneath the cattyness of the hops lied some solid pine aroma too. Nicely balanced in the palate with a strong showing of fresh, pungent hops and a clean malt/yeast combo to really let the hops do their best, which for me in an IPA is important. Obviously a hop-forward IPA and a really successfull one at that.
