Starting with soft Mt. Hood water, the brewers add German Carafa and roasted barley to the base malt for color and flavor. A blend of Inglemunster yeast plus a house strain from Rochefort ferments this moderately hopped strong brown ale, blending U.S. and Belgian craftsmanship for a brew that'll treat you well as you sip deep into the night.

This beer keeps taunting me all over Portland. Just trying to kick my ass all over town. Pours a cloudy copper. Nose is booze-hound material. Taste is hot, sweet, caramel, rum flavors and just a tad below me wanting to bust out a bottle of Jager.Pretty kick-ass beer.
