Has a citrus aroma with little to no head. Lacing is nothing to speak of. Color is a dark golden amber that is very nice. Carbonation was fair and mouthfeel was initially good but then turned a little slimy. After taste took some getting used to. Not a bad buy for 50 cents a bottle. Probably will not become one of my favorites though.

Though ranked higher, i actually enjoyed the regular Dixie (which had less going on, but less "off-ness") more than this. The prickly light feel and the weird malty tomes just didn't work for me. A little on the generic corny side of things.

pours a clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of carbonation with a small white head that quickly died down but left a bit of lacing on the surface and a ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass. The aroma consists of bready malts and corn. The taste is similar to the aroma with light flavors of bready malts and corn. A bit of malty sweetness is present in the initial taste. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.

Another from my Vic's Mix-6: Light clear amber yellow pour with a smallish sustained head and spotty lacing. Aromas of sweet but stale malts, some wet cardboard, little hops. Taste is a bit corny, stale malt sweetness, watered down hops and a weird seltzer flavor. Not good, disappointing actually.

It pours a light golden color with a thin white head and a ring of lace surrounding. A malty and bready aroma including: bitterness, hops, light funk, lemons and citrus, and light spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, lemon and citrus, bitterness, and some spiciness. Although a bit funky, it is okay.

"i feel like going to try on hats, no buying, just trying them on" ... good retention on some good sized very foamy soapy head .. medium gold ... some stale corn in the nose .. you know, enjoy the fight .. some lacing .. thanks to brian duff ... taste is weak but refreshing and perfect only for a 110 day in nawlins, i guess ... i'd pass.. .. i love the label

Everything about this beer is like Jazz music and all that jazz. Aroma has slight hints of honey on an otherwise background olfactory of my grammas permanent hair treatment. Fairly un hazy pale lager appearance. Weak and fairly non offensive on the taste buds. Just enough to let you know its beer and its not bad. Nice tingly carbonation. A rather enjoyable beer for a session and its as expected. Glad I tried this, it went down easy. Yep, just like jazz, free flowing without any one particular attribute except mildness. S5L2F3T5O12

Well, I won't be buying this crap again. It smells like hazlenut. WTF? This is not beer. It's some kid of pop drink. It's also got muscal notes on the label. Whoo Hoo!

Poured your basic gold with white head. A decent looking beer that had an OK taste but a weak finish . It just kind of disappeared interms of finish and mouth feel.

This beer poured a clear golden color with a fluffy white head. It had a mild aroma with good balance and a somewhat grainy flavor. Very smooth and a clean finish.

Golden, with a small thin white head. Aroma is a little skunky, grainy and of stale hops. taste is slightly flavorful- not a lot of action. mouthfeel is well carbonated but bland.
