It’s a creamy, English-style ale. Brewed with a variety of brown and caramel malts, it is lightly hopped for a pleasant flavor and aroma.

Poured brown, not a very noticable head to it. Its flavor was that of a pretty decent brown ale. I had this as part of a sampler at the brewery and was glad I chose it as an option. If you are a fan of brown ales you have to get this one when you stop by this brewery.

12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a small frothy head that quickly goes to a smoky wisp.

The aroma is nutty toffee and a little chocolate.

The flavor is a big sugary sweetness up front with nuts and toffee leading to a slightly bitter finish. It has some unpleasant medicinal notes. It's kind of scotch ale like. The mouthfeel is thin and watery and light on carbonation.

Overall, I didn't care for this at all. It was way too sweet and watery. I'd take an Odell's 90 Shilling over this any day.
