German inspired sour wheat beer. The sourness, which is quite obvious and dominant in this beer, is obtained by letting the unboiled wort go sour for several days. The end result is a refreshing beer where the sourness is the domineering flavour. This beer is only available once a year in very limited quantities on our anniversary day in September. The Indian summer was born in our Montreal brewpub in July 2003

4-pack from the brewery. Looks exactly like mango juice. The head fizzed a bit, but left quickly and no lacing in sight. Smells like mango juice with some sour notes and hints of hops giving a plasticy feel. The taste is like drinking mango juice, then the sourness kicks in and stays for a while. The wheat is felt all-around as well. A juicy beer that is not a Vermont IPA with less hops and well-hidden alcohol.
