A complex mash makes this beer truly unique for such a classic style with such a simple name. We combine two types of sweet caramel malt, lightly roasted biscuit and victory malts for depth and richness and of course highly roasted chocolate malt for perfect brown ale color and flavor. Magnum hops lend a clean and balancing bitterness and Mt. Hood hops are added plentifully especially at the end of the boil for an excellent flavor and aroma.

Well this is mild and a smooth soft drinking brown ale. Aroma sudsy like bubble bath with some playful fruits there. Caramel/cookie malts, plum, not sweet, not hoppy, nice blend, its a smooth balanced taste. A little salty dryness in the back

Gleaned this from a 12-pack sampler. I've loved the beers I've tried, it's nice to find more. Pours a nice brown color with a nice head, but minimal lacing. Scent is not only sweet, but floral as well. Taste is complex and very nice. I find most Browns to to be overly sweet, but this one is more balanced. Definate caramel presence with more hops than usual for the style, which *I* find. There's some fruit presence as well. Mouthfeel actually has a nice mineral sensation going on. It's nice and thick. Overall this is one of the best Browns I've had, and definately worth seeking out.
