My favorite Diamond Bear brew, pours a deep burgundy with a nice head and lacing. Tough to find though even in Little Rock and surrounding areas. But a really good brew.

A dark reddish brown pour, pretty clear, and topped with a generous cream coloured cap that sticks around and sticks to the glass. Lots of caramel and earthy hops in the aroma, certainly smells good. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy, almost full bodied. Flavor is meh at best. Some weak caramel sweetness to start, and a weak hop bite at the end. A big let down to a good start!

Nuts, caramel, and citrusy hops, all in good measure. Not a huge fan of the style, but this one is probably a little above average. Lingering hops on the finish, then another little wave of sweets and nuts. Not bad.

A brew courtesy of Brett. This poured a nice pleasent amber colour with a soft touch of sweet malts. Aroma was of caramel, soft bourbon and nuts. I really enjoyed this beer, it was very smooth and it represented the style well. Silky on the palate and easy to drink.

This poured a dark red color with no head. It had a very bold aroma with a dry flavor. It had average lacing with a grainy aftertaste. It was a biut harsh going down for me.

Once again, Diamond Bear has a winner for this style...Deep clear ruby pour with a tan head, it has a wonderful nutty flavor with just the right balance of hops . I could drink this all day. In fact I just did!!

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a thick, off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet flavor with a hint of caramel in the aftertaste. Thanks to Brett for this nice selection.

Poured a very nice mahogany red color with a nice head. A very nice and smooth red that had a great roasted malty finish. I really enjoyed this beer and would like to have it again.

Thanks to Brett, I was able to try this one. Pours a very nice clear, deep red with a nice head. Nice balanced flavor with an excellent malt flavor. Very good beer, I look forward to trying more of what they offer.

Thanks to Brett and Hannah I got to try this one! The aroma is very nice with much malty goodness present with maybe some slight bitter and is creamy-like with maybe some spice as well. The appearance is great and is a glowing dark amber to burgundy with hues of red as well when held to the light with a nice and creamy head on top that is medium-sized and light tan in color and remains leaving very nice lacing. The mouthfeel is medium in body with nice malty/hoppy balance with great complexity with a creamy and thick pallet that is very nice and smooth. The flavor is malty and creamy with some nice bitter hops coming through with a nice and refreshing aftertaste that is creamy and somewhat bitter with a nice finish that is a bit dry and very good. Overall, this is a fine example of the style with an excellent finish that is smooth with very nice bitter hops. This was great stuff and very drinkable, I liked this one very much and it is an excellent Irish Red.
